| Anyone put them on a house? Is it hard? We are looking at doing that in the next year. |

I've got a friend in Hawaii that installed them, but he didn't put them on the roof- he uses that for water catchment. He built a separate solar array for the panels. I think he has 16 panels, and his system works great. I'd love to install something similar.
What size system are you considering, Preston? _________________ -Erik Wilcox

The real trick is P-V generation is getting the panels at an affordable price. I've got pallets full of cracked panels... but that doesn't do much good now does it?

| Are you saying that they crack easy from the weather or shipping? |

I got my first panels Tuesday from Harbor Freight. 45 watt model.

It's a start. These are mainly for recharging power packs at star parties and providing minimal recharging capabilities during outages. Eventually I'd like to have a few old forklift batteries on charge all the time in the garage for emergency backup. _________________ Tom (Pegster) |
